In September of 2016, UWA hosted more than 4300 visitors and participants across campus. This year, CRAR+M hosted colleagues from Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation for a 3 day tour. The team presented a public lecture and visited a range of UWA lab and visualisation facilities.
MLSU Rangers and Aboriginal Elders visited and used the virtual reality technology in the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre, watched the 3D printing of a shell from one of the islands near Murujuga, visited the soil science lab and the forensics lab, toured the Western Australian Herbarium and co-presented on the Murujuga Dreaming project to a sell-out crowd.
